Athletic Training is the science behind injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation. Those individuals
who practice athletic training have met the requirements set forth by the National Athletic Trainers' Assocaition

trainers were recognized by the American Medical Association as an Allied health Profession.
Some of the responsibilities of the high school certified athletic trainer include, but are not limited to:
- Coverage of all NJSIAA sanctioned teams within the high school
- Coverage of freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity levels of each sport
- Practive and game coverage
- Advisor to the Athletic Training Student Aid Program
