Course Selection booklets for the 2010-2011 school year will be distributed in Social Studies classes. If you have any questions or concerns please plan to attend the open house (see below).

Open House
The high school will be hosting an open house. It will begin with a brief introductory program in the 500 building. After that, we invite you to visit our various department areas. It will be an opportunity to see the various course offerings and talk to the teachers of these different subjects. Please use this opportunity to get the information you need to help choose the best courses for your son or daughter in high school.

Parent Conferences
This round of conferences will be by teacher invitation only and are designed specifically to address those students who are struggling academically. Please read the attached letter for more information.

HSPA Testing
During the week of March 1, 2010, all of the juniors at Northern Burlington County Regional High School will take local and state standardized tests in Mathematics and Language Arts/Literacy. More detailed information will be forthcoming.

Teacher Recognition Nominations Requested
The Northern Burlington County Regional School District will once again be participating in the Governor’s Teacher Recognition Program. The deadline for entries is Friday, February 26, 2010. This program offers you the opportunity to participate in the District’s selection process by nominating the teacher you feel has made the greatest contribution to your child’s education. Please click on the title of this announcement to download a copy of the nomination form.
Volunteers Needed to Support PTSC Book Fair
The PTSC will be hosting a book fair in the Middle School from March 1st through March 5th and we are looking for volunteers! It is an easy and enjoyable experience, and the proceeds will be used to meet PTSC goals, such as providing scholarships to our high school graduates. If you can offer some time to work at the book fair (as little as two hours would help), please email Martha Sapp at nburlingtonptsc@gmail.com with your preferred day/time, and how long you’d like to work. The book fair hours are 8-2:30.

Join us to celebrate our students’ accomplishments and learn about the various programs Northern offers.

- Speak directly to the teachers about the courses under consideration for next year.
- Learn more about honors courses and college prep offerings.
- Attend a special information session for incoming freshmen and their parents.
- View displays about various sports and activities.

The program starts at 6:30 p.m. in the 500 Building.

(Welcoming performances by Band & Chorus members starting at 6:00 p.m.)

Northern Burlington County Regional High School’s December Students of the Month

Northern Burlington County Regional High School would like to honor five exemplary students. Alexander Carrell (10th grade), Akarsh Sharma (9th grade), Kayla Wharton (12th grade), Emily Blew (12th grade ELKS), and Chandler Gonzalez (11th grade), have all been selected as December Students-of-the-Month for their commendable behavior in school and in their classrooms. Everyone here at NBRHS is proud of them and would like to congratulate them on their success!!
Northern Burlington County Regional School District Achieves Accreditation!!
Northern Burlington County Regional High School District is proud to announce that it has been awarded Accreditation by the Middle State Association (MSA) through December 1, 2016. It has been accredited for Grades 7 -12 by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Northern Burlington County Regional School District is seen as an educational organization that meets all MSA Standards for Accreditation, adheres to applicable MSA policies, and meets the requirements of the self-study protocol used. “Northern Burlington County Regional School District is to be congratulated for having completed the rigorous and demanding accreditation review process successfully,” said Dr. Henry G.
